Cyclops-7F™ Submersible Sensors by Turner Designs

On April 28th, 2025, Turner Designs announced the retirement of the Cyclops-7F™ Submersible Sensor Line due to a part shortage of critical electrical components, effective immediately. This change directly impacts the availability of a number of our current sensor offerings (See Appendix 1).

As part of AML’s commitment to offering high-quality, reliable environmental sensing solutions, we are now quoting the C-FLUOR Submersible Probes by Turner Designs. With enhanced sensitivity, faster response times, lower power consumption, and deeper deployment capabilities, this series was introduced by Turner in 2019 as the natural successor to Cyclops. All C-FLUOR sensors are designed for seamless compatibility with existing Cyclops equipment.

Customers with ongoing projects using Cyclops sensors are encouraged to contact AML for guidance on transition planning, replacement options, sensor integration support, and calibration or service requests. We are committed to working closely with our customers to ensure continuity and data compatibility throughout this transition.

Key Dates

• October 31, 2025: Cyclops-7F™ Submersible Sensors will be available for order (based on availability) until this date.
