AML Oceanographic Introduces the MVP Roam™ Underway Profiler
AML Oceanographic is pleased to introduce the MVP Roam™ underway profiler, following the acquisition of the intellectual property for the Underway Profiling Technology from Revelare Systems. With this acquisition, AML will now manufacture, support, and service the technology under the MVP Roam name - expanding the MVP family with a compact, portable solution for underway profiling.
MVP Roam brings the confidence of AML’s established Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP) systems to operations where space, time, and integration demands may be limited. The system currently supports up to four parameters, operates autonomously in depths up to 60 metres while underway, and uses a freewheeling design to enable vertical profiling through the water column.
The addition of MVP Roam strengthens AML’s existing lineup of multi-sensor MVP systems, adding a compact, yet robust capability. Without compromising data quality, surveyors have greater flexibility to match profiling capability to vessel size, project requirements, and operational constraints.
