End of Life Notice | Blue-Line Xchange™ Instruments
On Nov. 1, 2020 AML Oceanographic released a schedule outlining the future End-of-Life for the Blue Xchange™ Instrumentation product line. This notice is to provide an update with further details as these products approach and pass certain milestones of this schedule.
While we remain committed to providing our best efforts in servicing these instruments until the end of 2025, we may encounter limitations in our ability to repair them. As we near this date, we’d like to outline the following updates regarding the End-of-Life plan for the Blue Xchange™ instrumentation:
- Best effort general service/diagnostics of Blue Xchange™ Instruments will continue until December 31, 2025, limited by parts availability.
- MVPx instruments will still be supported with parts availability until September 2026.
- Blue Xchange™ SVx Sensors will remain available for sale until December 31, 2025. As of January 1, 2026, they will be available while supplies last with a 90-day warranty (with repair parts warranty policy). No further production runs are scheduled for 2026. Note: this statement excludes certain OEM obligations.
- Calibration services for Blue Xchange™ SVx sensors will continue uninterrupted for the foreseeable future.
